Our Fitness Tools provide guidance for all levels to remain healthy and active!

Lift, Flex, & Move into Fitness offers multi-level exercises with personalized plans based on specific fitness levels.

The Rate of Perceived Exertion Chart serves as a guide to help you have an effective and enjoyable workout!

LIFT, FLEX, & MOVE INTO FITNESS

First, identify your fitness level.

Light

I have little to no recent experience with exercise, and would call myself a fitness beginner or starter.

I am able to perform light activities such as walking, riding a stationary bicycle, or performing house and yard work; but with challenges to breathing or requiring frequent rest breaks.

Moderate

I have some fitness experience and have been exercising 2-3 times per week for at least 6 months.

I can perform moderate to strenuous activities such as brisk walking uphill, outdoor cycling, and weightlifting without frequent rest breaks.

Strenuous

I have been exercising regularly 3-4 times per week for at least one year, and consider my routines suitable for advanced fitness levels.

I am confident in performing a variety of activities including lifting heavy weights, and trying new sports or activities.
